City Ready To Offer 160K A Week Contract To Serie A Ace Who Guardiola Described As A “Great Player”

Manchester City are prepared to pay Juventus forward Paulo Dybala €10m a year (£160,000 a week) if he chooses to move to the Etihad this summer, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper reports that the Citizens are the team likeliest to rival Inter Milan to sign the Argentinian international on a free transfer when his contract with Juve expires in June.

Pep Guardiola has previously praised Dybala, having called the striker “a great player” when his Bayern Munich side faced Juventus in the Champions League all the way back in 2016.

It seems that six years later the City manager is still interested in working with Dybala. The 28-year-old has been linked with moves to the Premier League on multiple occasions in the past.

Both Manchester United and Tottenham have reportedly been close to snapping up the Argentine previously, while Chelsea and Liverpool have been credited with an interest in him more recently.
