Buzz Growing That Odell Beckham Jr. Could Return To Browns

For months there has been speculation about what team Odell Beckham Jr. will sign with. He suffered an unfortunate injury during Super Bowl 56 with the Los Angeles Rams, tearing his ACL relatively early in their victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. That injury led to him missing the entire 2022 campaign, but it didn’t stop him from trying to get back on the field.

In November, Odell Beckham Jr. received clearance from doctors to start ramping up his activity. He met with three teams during the season; the Dallas CowboysBuffalo Bills and New York Giants. Out of the three, he seemed closest to signing with the Cowboys, but his meeting and physical with the team didn’t go well.

Dallas doctors didn’t think Odell Beckham Jr. would be able to help the team at the end of the regular season. If they were lucky, he would be back on the field contributing in January, but the Cowboys were seeking someone who could help right away. So, they pivoted and signed T.Y. Hilton.

This offseason, the interest in Odell Beckham Jr. was there again from the Cowboys, but they went in another direction, trading for Brandin Cooks. The Giants made some changes to their wide receiver position as well, but he was not part of the plans. The Bills haven’t been linked to him at all.

The Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets have emerged as potential suitors this offseason. The defending champion Chiefs need to find a replacement for JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman, while the Jets’ interest stems from Aaron Rodgers suggesting the team pursue Odell Beckham Jr. before he is traded there.

Now, you can possibly add another suitor to the list. Odell Bekcham Jr. lives in Arizona, where the NFL’s annual meeting was held. It is a good chance for him to meet up with and talk to representatives of teams and that is exactly what he did. The person he met up with could surprise some people, as it was Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.
