Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester join Nice in battle for Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City have joined French club Nice in the race for Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie.

Christie is currently on Euro 2020 duty as Steve Clarke’s Scotland side prepare for a win-or-bust clash with Croatia at Hampden on Tuesday.

Yet to commit to a new Parkhead contract, the 26-year-old’s existing deal expires in January and this window represents the last chance for Celtic to secure a transfer fee.
