What to expect from Game 2 of Spurs vs. Nuggets

Fraternizing with the Enemy is back with Ryan Blackburn of Denver Stiffs.

Believe it or not, it has been 12 years since the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets last competed in a playoff series, and needless to say neither team are the same as they were back then. There’s no Carmelo Anthony or George Karl in Denver, and Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker are no longer roaming the Spurs’ court. However there is still one remaining a vital piece from yesteryear: Gregg Popovich.

Because these two teams as currently constructed haven’t faced each other that much, and certainly not under the spotlight of the playoffs until now, I though it would be a good idea to reach out to Ryan Blackburn of Denver Stiffs to get some insight from Game 1 and what to expect going forward.

For an example of Ryan’s amazing work, you can check out his Five Takeaways from Game 1 and follow him on Twitter at @NBABlackburn.
