It has been a frustrating start of the year for Tiago Splitter as he’s only played a total of 10 minutes all season due to a nerve issue that has sidelined him for most of the year.  Per Dan Mc Carney of My San Antonoio    “limited to just 10 minutes this season by a calf injury that the Spurs have kept close to their vest, Splitter could return as soon as Tuesday’s road game at Utah for what head coach Gregg Popovich termed “quite short minutes.” Tiago Splitter only played 10 minutes this season against the Atlanta Hawks on November 15th. In his brief appearance he managed to pull down 4 boards. The Spurs have missed Tiago Splitters defensive and underrated offensive presence all season long, especially in the pick n roll game. The San Antonio Spurs have managed to thrive without Tiago Splitter due to the great play of Aron Baynes. With the return of Tiago Splitter the Spurs can return to their championship line up and start the race for Seis.
