Spurs sign F DeMarre Carroll to 2-year, $13 million deal

Barring any trades, the Spurs’ 2019-20 roster is set.

And just like that, barring any trades plus the formal signing of their two first round picks, the Spurs offseason is over as they have signed combo-forward DeMarre Carroll to a 2-year, $13 million deal, per Shams Charania.

Carroll, a solid 3-and-D veteran, fills out the 15th and final spot on the Spurs 2019-20 roster. It would appear they are committing to small ball with only one true center (Jakob Poeltl) plus LaMarcus Aldridge on the roster. We’ll have more on what this means for the Spurs, so stay tuned.

Welcome to San Antonio, DeMarre!
