Look no further than where the Spurs play to find great art

My wife, daughter, and I took in the Spurs preseason game against the Houston Rockets. Any time there is a game that starts before dusk, we make a family trip. And the last time the three of us went to see the Spurs they were hosting these (mostly) same Rockets on Easter. And the Spurs won by 17. Life was good.

If you want to see Spurs murals, look no further than the AT&T Center.

This was our first trip this season and although the final score didn’t shine on the Spurs, there was fun to be had. This mural, one of two currently on display at the AT&T Center, is a fan favorite. The wait to get a photo in front of these iconic images can be long, but it is worth it. This piece, “Soy 210” was designed by Los Otros Murals, the dynamic duo of David “Shek” Vega and Nik “Soupe,” San Antonio street artists whose names will pop up repeatedly on this tour. It was installed as part of the 2017 Playoff campaign through Spurs Sports & Entertainment.

If you make any game, stop by and enjoy the arena murals. They definitely enhance the AT&T experience.

I hope you’re enjoying the Mural Tour. If you know of a mural, please pass it on. There are currently ten on our list, but we are willing to take this trip as far as it will go.
