Welcome to the Game Thread. Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much.

Welcome to the game thread. After falling flat against the Clippers on Sunday, the Spurs have had a few days off to think about what they’ve done, and for Pop to tell them about it at practice. Now they’re travelling to Philly so that Matt Bonner can get a good cheese steak sandwich. But mostly, it’s an opportunity for DeMar DeRozan to break out of his slump, and for LaMarcus Aldridge to feast on the Sixers’ frontcourt. Derrick White has a tough defensive assignment against Ben Simmons, but at least you don’t have to worry about his outside shooting. Go Spurs GO!
