PSG ‘interested in signing Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez this summer’

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez this summer.

City were banned from the Champions League for the next two seasons for ‘serious breaches’ of UEFA’s financial fair play regulations last month.

The Premier League outfit have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport but they could lose Mahrez this summer, according to Calciomercato.

Ligue 1 giants PSG are reportedly keen on the Algeria international to boost their attacking ranks.

Mahrez has made 37 appearances for City this season, in which he has scored nine goals and 14 assists.

The 29-year-old’s current contract at the Etihad runs out in the summer of 2023.

Mahrez could be seen as a replacement for PSG star forward Kylian Mbappe with the World Cup winner linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe’s deal at the Parc des Princes expires in the summer of 2022 and PSG have wanted to extend his deal, but the Frenchman has yet to enter negotiations.
