Patty Mills passes Malik Rose in points scored by a Spurs bench player

The Aussie is now second to none other than Manu Ginobili.

On Saturday, Patty Mills scored nine points coming off the bench against the Portland Trail Blazers. The longest tenured active player has scored 3,281 points coming off the bench for the San Antonio Spurs. He surpassed Malik Rose who scored 3,272 in 589 games over eight seasons with the Silver & Black.

Mills is in his 9th season and it took 599 games to pass Malik’s total. Now Mills stands 2nd all-time in bench scoring by a Spur. Next on the list — Manu Ginobili with 8,278 points.

Good luck passing the Spurs bench GOAT, Patty!

And congratulations!
