Open Thread: Spurs Mural tour continues at the AT&T Center

Stop #6 is just around the bend from #5.

If you want to see graffiti art in the Spurs honor, look no further than their home. The AT&T Center has two murals located on the lower concourse. “Soy 210,” featured last week, and “Viva Coyote” are both located on the lower concourse.

Like “Soy 210” this companion piece was designed and spray painted by Nik Soupe and Shek Vega of Los Otros Murals, artists of a great number of the Spurs murals that can be located around San Antonio.

But as it is with great art, there can be a time limit. These are not the only murals by the duo to be located at the AT&T Center. There have been previous award-winning installments that have since been replaced.

The time to enjoy these murals is now. At any time, a new piece may be featured at the Spurs home court encouraging fans to flock for another photo.

If you make any game, stop by and enjoy all that the area has to offer. There is definitely a San Antonio vibe that is enhanced by the AT&T experience. And there are many in the immediate area. So stay tuned for the next stop.

I hope you’re enjoying the Mural Tour. If you know of a mural, please pass it on. There are still some on our list to visit, and we are willing to take this trip as far as it will go.
