Open Thread: Spurs great David Robinson honors Military Spouse Appreciation Day

The Admiral to speak at an event later this week.

This Friday is Military Spouse Appreciation Day. And of course, Sunday is Mother’s Day.

The Spurs greatest center David Robinson will be celebrating both later this week at an event at Fort Sam Houston here in Military City, U.S.A.

As fortune would have it, Pounding The Rock will be there to cover the event.

There is a chance I could find myself face-to-face (or more like my face to his rib cage) with The Admiral, and I don’t want to be be unprepared or get tongue-tied…or worse.
