Open Thread: Spurs Fiesta medals go on sale tomorrow

Fiesta Medals for Spurs, Rampage, SAFC, and Spurs Coyote benefit Silver & Black Give Back.

A launch party will reveal this year’s Spurs Sports & Entertainment Fiesta Medals. Fans are invited to pick up their medals at the H-E-B at I-10 and Wurzbach starting at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19th. The Spurs Coyote will be on hand for the unveiling along with players from the San Antonio FC.

Additionally, the Spurs Hype Squad and H-E-Buddy will be on hand with the Que Spot BBQ truck and Creamy Creations ice cream trailer, a Mariachi band, and face painters.

Fans will also have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the evening, including autographed Spurs memorabilia and H-E-B gift cards. The five medals will go on sale at H-E-B stores, online at HEB.com, and at the Spurs Fan Shop starting Wednesday, March 20. The medals will also continue to be available at all home Spurs and Rampage games while supplies last. The collectible set includes five medals, celebrating the San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio Rampage, San Antonio FC and the Spurs Coyote. The medals cost $10 each, and the full Silver & Black Family 5-Pack will be available for $45.

Year after year, these are some of the most coveted fiesta medals in the city. Don’t expect to be able to buy these for long.

Proceeds will benefit Silver & Black Give Back (SBGB) youth programs.
