Aldridge pays respects to his hometown mentor on this new reality show

By now Spurs fan know LaMarcus is a stand-up guy. He’ s a team player and role model on the court, but now Pounders have a unique opportunity to get a glimpse of his good samaritan side off the court as well.

This Sunday at 4:00 p.m. on CBS LaMarcus is the featured athlete on the second installment of the new series “Superstar Renovation,” a reality-based home makeover show.

In this episode, Aldridge redecorates the home of his Robert Allen, his high school basketball coach from Dallas, Texas.

As reported by Tom Orsborn,

Aldridge teamed with “Superstar Renovation” contractor expert Jason Cameron to surprise Allen with a game room makeover that included a specially designed display case and entertainment to showcase a sports memorabilia collection. In addition, Allen and wife Katie had their backyard transformed into an area for relaxing and entertaining.

Set your DVR for this. Why DVR? Because the Spurs are playing at the same time in Cleveland on Fox Sports Southwest against the Cavaliers.
