Open Thread: Happy birthday, Tony Parker
Spurs #9 turns 37 today.
I know, I know, he’s not in a Spurs uniform any more. But there is no denying that #9 will be the next Spurs jersey to hang in the rafters.
The 2007 NBA Finals MVP and six-time NBA All-Star point guard has had a storied career in the United States as well as his native France (technically born in Brussels).
It is undetermined if Parker will return for a nineteenth season, but one thing is for sure, he’ll always have a home here in San Antonio.
So raise a glass of champagne to the littlest of the Big 3 and wish Monsieur Parker “bon anniversaire!”
