Open Thread: Happy birthday, Lonnie Walker IV
The youngster from Reading, PA turns the big 2-0.
There was a televised Austin Spurs game on Fox Sports earlier this week and I got my first views of Lonnie Walker IV since he went down during preseason game against the Detroit Pistons with a meniscus tear.
He’s rehabbing quite well in Austin and looks primed to make his NBA debut anytime in the near future:
Today, LWIV turns 20 years old. No idea if he is celebrating in Austin or San Antonio, my invitation must have been lost in the mail. Either way, the pride of Reading deserves a celebration, so if you see him somewhere along I-35, honk and give him some love.
