Open Thread: Happy belated birthday to Davis Bertans

The Latvian Laser turned 26 yesterday.

Totally dropped the ball yesterday. If I’m being completely honest, I had already tagged the article to be completed, and then buried it in a pile of other pieces. But a birthday was had, and I missed it, and I feel bad. But what is worse – to forget a birthday? Or to have to celebrate your birthday in Sacramento?

Probably the worst is getting punched in the face on your birthday:

I have to give props, Davis Bertans is a great Spur. He comes off the bench and nails the three-pointers when the Silver & Black need it most. He’s showing his ability to drive when chased off the line. And if I’m not mistaken, his defensive game looks to be improving as well. Yet another find for PATFO.

Considering he did play the Kings last night (and that didn’t go as well as before), let’s show the highlight reel from his 28-point killing last January against these same SacTown Royalty.

Happy birthday, Davis! We’ll have to celebrate San Antonio style after this road trip.
