Open Thread: Gregg Popovich sells his San Antonio home

Gregg Popovich sold his 9,600 square-foot Dominion home on 2.6 acres for $3M.

The Popovich family moved in back in 2005. The home went up on the market in 2018 for $4.5M but has since seen multiple reductions before finally selling at two-thirds the original asking price.

The house is adorned with a pool, workout center, and wine cellar.

You can take a virtual tour of the home here thanks to the San Antonio Current.

Despite the sale going through, there are no rumors of Popovich leaving town at this time. But rest assured, as quickly as someone can say “Brooklyn,” there will be talk that Pop is making some other significant move beyond home base.

Other than a Minka rental in Tokyo next summer, Pop should be staying right at home in San Antonio.
