Friday night featured Lonnie Walker IV’s huge game against the Houston Rockets.

Right about the time cities were closing restaurants and the rest of the world was catching up to the NBA, Sean Elliott posted this on Twitter:

To verify, I have not noticed “every evening” (feel free to verify in the comments if you have noticed), but on Friday they aired what was possibly the Spurs most exciting game of the season: December 3, 2019’s home game against the Houston Rockets.

If you do not remember, this was the one with that now infamous James Harden “missed” dunk.

For me, it is reminiscent of when Manu Ginobili accidentally made a three against the Knicks, equally fooling the referees.

Anyway, this game featured the Spurs down by 22 points in the 3rd quarter before a comeback, led by Lonnie Walker IV, who scored 19 in the final frame, ended regulation in a tie and eventually a Spurs win in double overtime.

In my opinion, the gutsiest shot of the season was Lonnie’s tying three from way beyond the arc with seconds left in regulation.

For full Lonnie Walker IV highlights form that historic game, check out the reel:

Tonight, FSSW features the Spurs game against the Sacramento Kings from last December 9th. I’ll update with more game info as it becomes available.

If you do not get Fox Sports Southwest as part of your television package, you can stream as well as get the app.
