Open Thread: Derrick White out tomorrow in Sacramento

Right heel soreness will postpone the guard’s participation in the first game of the Rodeo Road Trip.

The Spurs have announced that Derrick White will sit out his first game since returning to action November 7th. In the Spurs lackluster victory over the New Orleans Pelicans Saturday night, in which White was limited to 4 points, it was revealed that he is suffering front soreness in his right heel.

This is not on the same foot that caused White to miss the beginning of the season. After an impressive January, young #4 had a rough start on the final game of the home stand to kick off February.

The Spurs game in Sacramento tonight is the first of eight on the annual Rodeo Road Trip.

Here’s to wishing Derrick White a speedy recovery and healthy return to what has become an impressive sophomore season for the Colorado recruit.
