Tevez has signed a one-year deal until June 2021, with the option of a six-month extension.

Despite doubts about his future at the Argentinian giants, it was expected that the 36-year-old would remain at the club due to his desire to win a second Copa Libertadores with Boca and so it has proved.

Tevez came through the Boca Juniors’ youth ranks before breaking into the club’s first-team in 2001.
