Calling all graphic artist Spurs fans
Do you have what it takes to make awesome pictures and memes for Pounding the Rock?
Have you wanted to contribute to PtR in more ways than just page views and interaction with other Pounders, but writing isn’t really your strength? I may have something JUST for you!
Social media is an important part of our system here at Pounding the Rock. It allows us to grow the PtR community and reach even more people than we would otherwise. As the social media coordinator for our blog, I’m able to observe fan interaction and participation across Facebook, Twitter, and most recently, Instagram. In many ways, these social media sites are just as important as PtR itself because they allow us to promote our site while also giving fans an entirely different experience than they get from the comment sections here.
I want to continue to grow these platforms, and I believe the way forward is more media. Pictures, GIFs, cool video edits, and any other forms of our own media that we can get up on Instagram and Facebook is a huge plus.
This is where YOU come in!
If you know your way around photo and/or video editing software, have a love for the Spurs, a willingness to volunteer and help grow our blog, and the time to contribute, I would LOVE to hear from you. Your work will be featured across all 3 of our social media platforms, where we have a combined 200,000 followers, and you’ll be interacting with myself and the boss man himself, J.R. Wilco.
