Bundesliga side urge Klopp to complete Werner transfer
Mainz have pleaded with former boss Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool to sign Germany international Timo Werner.
Werner was in outstanding form on Sunday when netting a hat-trick for RB Leipzig in their 5-0 Bundesliga romp at Mainz.
The 24-year-old had earlier in the season become the first player to score three times and provide three assists in the same Bundesliga match during the 8-0 thumping of the same opposition.
