He intends for the season to resume, although it is unclear from what point in the schedule.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has announced that the NBA hiatus due to the Coronavirus will last at least 30 days, setting the timeline for its return at approximately April 12 at the earliest. In letter to fans explains the decision to suspend the 2019-20 season, he had the following to say:

“We made this decision to safeguard the health and well-being of fans, players, everyone connected to our game and the general public. This hiatus will last at least 30 days and we intend to resume the season, if and when it becomes safe for all concerned.”

He also mentions that while it is every intention for the season to resume at point, it is not mentioned at what point in the schedule. That will likely be determined by how long the hiatus lasts. He also said tickets will be honored when games are replayed, and if they are not replayed or games are played in empty arenas, they will be credited towards next season.
